Answer: I'm sorry to be the one to inform you that egg matzo is not acceptable for Ashkenazim, except for young children, elderly or ill people. Otherwise only matzo made from flour and water may be used. This should be stated clearly on the box. The reason being that the sugar in fruit juice causes the fermentation to happen faster and we cannot rely on 18 minutes.
