Halacha - Shaver Blades

Answer: If the blade does not come in contact with the skin there is no problem even if it is a razor blade. I would guess that he was referring to lift-and-cut shavers where there is a risk that the blade will touch the skin, and in fact would be problematic if the blade is sharp.
