Why The Name Moshe?
Out of all the beautiful names that Moshe Rabbeinu was given by his father, mother, and Am Yisroel (see Revach Lists - Names of Moshe Rabbeinu), which reflected his incredible and unique qualities, why is it that the Torah calls him Moshe, the name given by Basya bas Paroh when drawing him from the water?

Please tell us what you know.

Shmos Rabo 2:26 - to teach the reward of goimlei chasodim the name which Basya bas Paroih gave "Moishe" was fixed in the Torah - even HKB"H used no other name.

To highlight his Anivus. Despite the fact that he was brought up in the Royal Palace, which could have given him many reasons to consider himself better and greater than anyone else - he remained Ho'ish MOSHE (which is wehere he received the name) Onov me'od mikol ho'odom!

The Gemara in Chullin asks "Moshe min hatorah minayin", where is Moshe alluded to in the torah, and the Gemara answers with a pasuk at the end of parshas B'reishis in which Hashem predicts the mabul (see Rashi there).
The Maharsha there in Chidushei Aggados explains the Gemara's question was that we find Moshe had many names, so how do we know that the Torah considers Moshe-a name given to him by Bisya, a mitzri, to be his main name. The pasuk the Gemara brings alludes to the name Moshe, and the Maharsha goes on to explain why Moshe is alluded to specifically in connection with the mabul. Al pi his p'shat, he explains why Moshe: Because he DREW bnei yisroel out of the Yam Suf. The basis of how bnei yisroel came out of the Yam Suf, according to the Maharsha, was Emuna, and Emuna (or lack of) was the key factor to Hashem bringing the mabul. Hence the name Moshe, and the allusion to Moshe in context of the mabul. It is really a beautiful Maharsha, and is worth seeing inside.
