Halacha - Hashem's Name on computer screens
Submitted by Daniel  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: What's Halocha about reading Chumash and other text with Names of Hashem written in Hebrew on PCs? Thank You! Daniel.
Answer: The texts certainly may be read, except in an inappropriate place such as a bathroom. Regarding erasing the screen there is a machlokes. It is generally accepted to be permitted because one is not erasing physical words, just interrupting the flow of electrons and preventing the words from being formed in the future.
