Halacha - bachur shaving
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question:
Answer:

There are opinions in Halacha that all electric shavers are forbidden. While powder would be allowed, there are inyanim in Kabbala to have a beard. However in non-Chassidishe circles it is generally accepted to shave in Halacha and Hashkafa. My Rosh Yeshiva, HaRav Shmuel Kaminetzky shlita, would tell bachurim to shave unless their family's minhag was not to.
