Halacha - Tatoos
Submitted by Donald Levitt  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: Is one permitted to have small tatoos (about the size of a pin head) in order to facilitate radiation therapy for cancer?
Answer: I have never heard of this procedure, but cancer is certainly a life threatening illness and any reliable treatment to cure the cancer would be permitted assuming it does not involve idolatry, murder or illicit relations.
