Halacha - morning davening
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question:
Answer:

Berachos and Shema may be recited even wearing only a nightshirt, and probably should be in your situation if you are afraid you will forget later. However, Shmona Esrei should only be said when dressed appropriately to speak to a king, and your nightshirt most likely does not qualify. According to many opinions a woman fulfils her minimal obligation of tefila with morning berachos, so you should be careful to at least say them every day. If you forget Shmona Esrei until the afternoon, you can still daven Mincha.
