Halacha - music class attendance during 9 days
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: I am taking an expensive vocal workshop and one class occurs during the 9 days. Must I miss that class?
Answer:

The prohibition during the 9 days is on listening to music for enjoyment, so if you are only practicing for professional reasons it is permitted.
