Halacha - Shabbos
Submitted by Eliezer  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: I just stumbled across this website. What do you think about the need to cut off those extra buttons on shirts so you don't carry them on Shabbos?
Answer:

R' Shlomo Zalman Auerbach zatzal is quoted in Shmiras Shabbos K'Hilchaso as saying that they do not need to be removed as they are considered an integral part of the shirt.
