Question: Our granddaughter wants to know,if the name Moshe Yehudah can be used if her r zaidy's ( who is still alive) Hebrew name is Dov Yehuda? Thank you.
Answer: Ashkenazim traditionally do not give any name that overlaps with a living parent or grandparent.
