Halacha - Sefira/Lag B'omer
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: If you keep first half of Sefirah (up to Lag Bomer) can you listen music asfter nightfall on day 32/33 or must you wait until the day or Chatzos on lag?? Also can you shave from nightfall day 32/33 or must you do the same and wait until Chatzos on Lag b'omer??
Answer:

An Ashkenazi may cut his hair from the beginning of the morning of Lag B'Omer based on the concept that keeping part of a day is like keeping the entire day. The same would seem to apply to listening to music and I found no source for the common practice of tuning on the music already on the night of Lag B'Omer.
