Halacha - Yayin Nesech
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: My boss gave me a bottle of non-kosher wine as a "Holiday" gift in December. Am I allowed to re-gift it to another gentile (e.g. the mailman, a neighbor, or a co-worker) or sell it, or is this a forbidden type of benefit? Thanks.
Answer: It is permitted. Today (and in the times of the Gemara) that most non-Jews do not actually worship idols, stam yeinam is only forbidden to drink but not for other benefits.
