Question: There is a machlokes rishonim regarding a case where someone is not eating at home and therefore not preparing any food for shabbos on yomtov whether one should make an eiruv tavshilin in order to light candles. The mishna brura paskins you should make one but he doesnt't say whether you should make a bracha. Shouldnt it be safek bracjos l'hakel.?
Answer: Agreed, a beracha should not be said.
