Halacha - Zoreh
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: is shaking one's (longish) hair around on shabbos to shake off the dandruff flakes a violation of zoreh (winnowing)?
Answer:

No, zoreh only applies when the wind assists and not when your action is fully responsible for the outcome.
