Halacha - sewing Chol HaMoed
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: is one allowed to mend on chol hamoed a garment that's needed for yom tov?
Answer: Yes, however it should be done in a makeshift manner. A seam should be mended with wide, uneven stitches, and for a button only through 2 of the 4 holes.
