Halacha - Basar ve Halav
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: Shalom I was wondering if it would fall under the issur of hanaa to use a photograph of a pizza with pepperoni on it for advertising purposes (for an otherwise kosher pizza restaurant!) I've seen it happen more than once here in Israel - presumably due to the use of a stock photgraph
Answer: It would not be assur as hana'ah, since you are not deriving any pleasure from the actual basar b'chalav itself. However it is not very appropriate.
