Question: My husband accidentally used a steak knife to cut between two slices of pizza, which he was taking out of the microwave. How do I kasher the knife?
Answer: Assuming the pizza was hot at the time, the knife needs hagala, immersion in boiling water. I have detailed the procedure in other places, but if you have never done it before you may be best off asking for assistance from someone more experienced.
