Halacha - Breaking a neder with a mitzvah object |
Submitted by anonymous Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh |
Question: |
Answer: The sukka may still be used despite violating his vow. However he should speak to a Rav knowledgeable in the Halachos of nedarim about the possibility of doing hataras nedarim, as this would negate the serious transgression of violating a vow retroactively. Although generally speaking an oath made to another person may not be negated, there are exceptions to this rule. |
