Halacha - Mikveh
Submitted by Goldie Block  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: May a female, seeking conversion, enter the Mikveh if she has a chronic psoriasis?
Answer: The specifics of an individual case would depend on the severity of the psoriasis, and the Rabbi conducting the conversion should be consulted. Generally speaking, loose flakes of skin should be soaked and removed, but dead skin that is full attached need not be removed.
