Halacha - Shipping package on Shabbat
Submitted by Linda Haniford  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: A company asks you if you want your package shipped on Shabbat. Is that allowed? Also, if they will send it to you on Friday with the knowledge that it will be travelling over Shabbat does that present any issue. Thank you.
Answer:

You should tell them that you do not want it shipped on Shabbos. If they ship it on Friday and you did not demand next day delivery it is permitted, because they are considered to be transporting the package on Shabbos for their own interests and not at your behest.
