Halacha - Aliya
Submitted by Aharon  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: Hi, Is a man allowed to divorce his wife if he wants to make aliya and she doesn't? Does he have a right to take the children with him?
Answer:

This is a sensitive issue which can depend upon numerous individual factors. It would be best to have both sides sit down together with a Rav who knows them personally.

Halacha - Rabbi Yehuda HaChassid
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: Hello. According to Rabbi Yehudah Hachosid, who in his will, suggests people not marry if mother-in-law and daughter-in-law or, father-in-law son-in-law have the same name. What about a woman marrying a man who has the same name as her son from a previous marriage, or a man marrying a woman who has the same name as his daughter? With all these names, if one party has two names and the other one etc, does his suggestion still apply? Thank you
Answer:

I don't believe that either of the two examples you gave would be problematic.

Even in the cases he the explicitly recomends against, if names are not identical there is no problem.
